Privacy and data
What this site collects, why it collects it, and how to withdraw your consent or ask for your data to be deleted.
The full policy is with Ejabah Legal for review. This page describes what the site does today, and will be replaced by the approved policy once it is complete.
No cookies, no tracking
The public pages of this site set no cookies and store nothing on your device. There is no advertising pixel and no cross site tracking, and your data is not sold or shared with advertisers.
- Measuring visits
- We measure how many people visit, using Vercel Web Analytics. It records which page was viewed, from which country, and on what kind of device. It does so without a cookie and without a lasting identifier, so one visit cannot be tied to another, or to you.
- The one cookie
- The sign in session for the RBN team dashboard, created only after a member of the team signs in. A visitor never receives it.
What we collect
Nothing except what you type into one of the two forms. Nothing is collected in the background.
- The join form
- Full name, email address, and mobile number. Optionally: how you describe yourself, your organisation, job title, industry, city, LinkedIn account, preferred language, and how you heard about the network.
- The contact form
- Your reason for writing, your name, your email address, and your message. Optionally: a contact number and your organisation.
- Stored with each submission
- Your consent, the moment you gave it, the page you gave it from, and the site language you were reading in. These are kept as the record that consent was actually given.
Why we collect it
For two reasons only: to invite you to upcoming gatherings and programs, and to reply to your message. Your data is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Where it is kept
In a managed database with Supabase, reachable only by the Riyadh Business Network team after signing in. A copy of each submission is also emailed to the network so the team sees it.
Your rights
At any time you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@rbnksa.com and we will act on it.
